Encounters with the furries are par for the course on the property so there's no guarantee that you won't leave Nyrang without at least experiencing one. 



If you see geese wadding in the pond, they are more than likely to honk at you in greeting. Some cattle keep to themselves but they have an inquisitive nature, so don't be surprised if they start to follow you! At night time, squirrels and owls are known to be drawn to our verandah and roofs, foraging for food. Kangaroos are also known to be spotted, usually hopping away so if you see one, count yourself lucky.


The hosts have a kelpie named Bobby and one cat they are friendly and will enjoy human contact.
